I got this half-sleeve in honor of my husband, who was an airborne infantryman during his Army enlistment, and in honor of how this experience shaped him as an individual as well as us as a couple.  It is also in honor of my family’s military heritage (hence the C-47) and veterans in general (hence the poppies).

I had a very loose idea that I took to my artist back in January and he totally rocked it.  The entire thing took about 25 hours and I could not be happier with it.
